Our client has a digital platform to help their clients manage risk associated with injury claims and has a sizeable dataset around past claims. They needed an application to predict outcomes to provide early, actionable insights to their users for new injuries and claims.
We used natural language processing (NLP) to transform large unstructured data sets into usable, structured data. Combining NLP features with historic claim information, we developed a high accuracy model to predict claim cost and duration for new injury events. We are now assisting our client to implement a production application based on this predictive model.
